Seen in the wild!

I was in a big-city bookstore today, checkin' out the Erotica section (of course) . . . when I did a double take.

That Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica staring me in the face was not last year's MBBNE.

It was the hot (off the presses) new MMBNE #7!

Charity comes early this year!

Awesome editors Alessia Brio and Will Belegon and the phantastic people at Phaze Books have managed to get Coming Together: Under Fire on the market, in both print and e-book form, ahead of schedule. In other words . . . it's available NOW! This latest volume in the erotica-for-charity series is a benefit for wildfire relief. Here's a peek at the table of contents (italics indicate poetry—so, for example, "Kindle" is a poem by Pushcart Prize nominee Shanna Germain):

A bookish post

Bookish things are afoot! The Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica 7 (which includes my story "Mindy's Pheromones") will be out in just a few weeks now. Also out shortly is Coming Together: Under Fire (which contains my story "The Secret to Perfect Fondue"). February brings us J is for Jealousy ("Ten Percent of the Time") and K is for Kinky ("Seduction with a Splash"). I'll be in another Xcite volume soon (details to come) with "Impressionism"; also on the horizon is Screaming Orgasms and Sex on the Beach ("Beau Nouveau"), along with a few more books I can't mention yet, till everything's officially official.

Meanwhile, some good news regarding anthologies that came out this year: Coming Together: For the Cure ("If We Were ...") is a finalist for an EPPIE award, and Got A Minute? ("Every Night") appears on Violet Blue's 2007 "Sex Books That Don't Suck" list!

On the air

I had a wonderful time reading my erotica on the Air Atta Ca Talk Internet radio show last night! [Note: radio will autoplay when you follow the link.] Though the hour went quickly—as is the habit of fun hours—I was able to squeeze in (and fondle) three pieces before the ol' clock on the wall triggered the ol' trapdoor to the sidewalk: "Every Night" aka "Ass Pajama Lottery"; "Mindy's Pheromones"; and "Le Petit Déjeuner."

The link above takes you directly to the show that features Yours Truly, where you can play and listen. If you prefer to download the show, you'll want to visit the program's main page [note: autoplay also enabled there] and scroll down (or, depending when you're reading this, navigate back to pages of older shows) till you find the December 7th/8th program. (This way, of course, you'll also have the opportunity to listen to all the other installments of the show!)

[Note: If you're logged in as a registered blogtalkradio user, make sure you've successfully disabled the "safe search" in your settings, or these adult programs won't show up. If you don't log in, you should see all programs by default.]

Big thanks to hosts Sunny and Kat for making me so welcome and entertaining me with their hilarious conversation and captivating readings of their own writing!

Jeremy phones it in

Yep, tomorrow night is my live-via-telephone guest appearance on the Air Atta Ca Talk Internet radio show! [Note: radio will autoplay when you follow the link.] I'll be reading a selection of my stories, including, by special arrangement, one from an anthology that's so new it hasn't even come out yet! I'm also assembling a couple of brief excerpts from my in-progress erotic novel, which I have about 90% finished at this point.

The hour-long show will begin at 1 a.m. Eastern Standard (aka New York) Time on Friday night (technically first thing Saturday morning, given the wee hours a.m. dealio). And though podcasts are often associated with mp3 players, please note that you can listen to a program like this right on a typical computer.

If you miss it—and if you wish you hadn't—you'll find the show archived at the Air Atta Ca Talk site. (If you miss it and are glad you missed it . . . then you're all set!)

For a little more info, step this way.

[Thanks to knickers knut Slip of a Girl for helping me promote this.]

I'll be appearing in this volume alongside lots of amazing writers—including Rachel Kramer Bussel, Vincent Diamond, Shanna Germain, Sommer Marsden, Jude Mason, Gwen Masters, Teresa Noelle Roberts, Lisabet Sarai, the editors of course . . . the list goes on! (Follow the link for complete TOC.)
My story is called "The Secret to Perfect Fondue."
