It's Beau nouveau season!

And my story of the same name has just been published at Oysters and Chocolate Erotic!

The fact that she asked for only one bottle of wine could be a good sign. Maybe the rest of them have a concert tonight. Hooray for concerts. Tonight, I would gladly underwrite a symphony or two if it would clear Barbara’s house of extraneous musicians.
Thanks, O&C!

Bed. Breakfast. Brussels.

I hope you'll join me for some "Bread & Bedfest" over at Clean Sheets! It's a little erotic slice of Europe that even includes a cameo appearance by the little slice of Europe known as Mini-Europe [shown].
I didn't come to Brussels with the goal of figuring out when a stranger was getting it. But that's only because my guidebook didn't tell me about the entrancing aroma of coffee and newspaper and satisfied woman that fondles me every time I walk by Nathalie.

Thank you, CS!

Mayumism!

When I was looking for a New York–based photographer to take Jeremy portraits for my website last year, I was thrilled to find the glowing work of Mayumi Yoshimaru.

When I first contacted her, I was a little concerned that she might be uncomfortable doing something like this:

But as we corresponded, I was soon reassured that shooting subjects in sexually suggestive and anatomically revealing poses was definitely not outside her parameters [NSFW].

In fact, Mayumi has such a gift for erotic photography that she is represented in the great Maxim Jakubowski's just-released Mammoth Book of New Erotic Photography! Congratulations, Mayumi!

Mayumi's photography comprises a variety of subjects and tones. And if you know my erotic sensibilities at all, you won't be surprised to see which image from her RedBubble store I've selected to close this post:

Erotic Literary Salon videos

I had a marvelous time last Tuesday reading excerpts from Rock My Socks Off at Philadelphia's Erotic Literary Salon! I was featured alongside the fabulous poet Robin Elizabeth Sampson, and the open mike was graced by the likes of Emerald (next month's featured reader) and Ricc Berra, who delighted us with their mesmerizing stories. What a fun evening! Thank you, Susana the Salonnière, for hosting me again.

And thanks to the fantastic Helia, I have video footage from my readings. (Sorry it came out so dark—the side effect of a groovy atmosphere, don'tcha know.)

Because of the nature of the prose being recited, I have password-protected these videos so that Vimeo users at large won't wander in without knowing what they're getting. Password: jerotic

Alison's Meta-Offer

As you will recall, Cleis Press is currently giving us 20% off orders we place via their website for in-stock books (use special-offer code GG).

Now legendary eroticist and pot sweetener Alison Tyler is offering a meta-offer:

If you buy any of my Cleis books using their 20% off coupon, drop me a note at msalisontyler at yahoo dot com and let me know which title or titles you purchased.

I'll send you the $1.49 PDF of your c
hoice (check out Pretty Things Press for your selection) as an added bonus!
Both the offer and the meta-offer are valid through December 31. (Also note that Cleis offers free shipping if you make their minimum.)

When I originally posted about the Cleis deal, I proudly included thumbnail images of all the Cleis anthologies in which I've appeared to date—many of which were edited by AT. Today I'm displaying a few of my other favorite Tyler-edited Cleis collections. Inside these classic volumes you'll find such hot-glowing talents as Lisette Ashton, Tenille Brown, Rachel Kramer Bussel, Andrea Dale, Shanna Germain, Michael Hemmingson, Jolene Hui, Tsaurah Litzky, Teresa Noelle Roberts, Jean Roberta, Thomas S. Roche, Savannah Stephens Smith, Donna George Storey, Sage Vivant, Saskia Walker, and of course Alison herself:

Polished Prose

Today I have a brand new story up at Oysters & Chocolate Erotic. I'm very pleased to offer you the emotionally delicate and slightly weird "In My Father's Footsteps."

“There was a picture of you with his things. I found it years later, when I took stuff out of storage.”

“That’s sweet. A snapshot from the seventies, huh?” She chuckled. “God, what was I wearing?”

I shook my head “no,” and Vicky caught my meaning and blushed.

I'm also very pleased that I lucked into finding the perfect image to place here in conjunction with my story announcement:

Thanks, O&C! (And Kiwi.)

"These stories left me breathless"

There's a new review in for my erotic story collection, Spark My Moment. It's by Samantha at Oysters and Chocolate Erotic, and it totally makes my day!

Here's one snippet:
There’s something about the characterization in these stories that blew me away. His characters are not only quirky, funny, and arousing, but so singular and real that I found myself wishing I could meet them (and yes, have sex with them) in real life.
And here's how the review winds up (yes, I'm spoiling the ending):
This is a brilliant collection of short stories, refreshing, entertaining, and down-right (gasp) sexy.
Read the entire thing here!
