Get thee to a newsagent!

If you're reading from (or even in) the UK, you might like to know that the April issue of Scarlet magazine, which includes erotica by yours truly, is available beginning today!

According to their website, Scarlet "will never patronise you or support tired stereotypes; men aren't all bastards, women can (and do) enjoy porn, and we don't all dream of being a size 10." The publication boasts "hot semi-naked men, true confessions, forthright sex features, lingerie to lust over and erotic literature (aptly named Cliterature)." So if you're tired of looking at the semi-naked non-bastard man at the upper right of this blog, perhaps you'd like to pick up a copy of Scarlet! I'll meet you in the Cliterature section, where you'll find me spinning a story about a woman's most cherished kinky dream coming true.

I'm told that the magazine is sold not only through your friendly neighbourhood newsagent, but also at Borders, WHSmith, Sainsbury's, Asda, Tesco, and Superdrug.

Huge congrats, Jeremy!

But...I'm pouting until they start making that magazine available for us US-ers. Damn it! I want my issue with hot Jeremy porn.

Okay, that sounds odd even to me, but it's early yet..

..sneaks off to find coffee, cheering as she goes...

Best, s.

And the word of the day is: lfbfelt.

Thanks, Smut Girl!

Ha—the bookshelf is pretty sturdy, though it might eventually come apart if people keep opening it up looking for towels.

I'm with Shanna. I'm jarred off that we colonists can't fetch a copy of this lovely story from our local druggist! It's not bloody cricket, is it?

Well done, Jeremy!

Ta, Craig, mate!

Oh congrats, Jeremy! Scarlet's a brilliant mag, and I shall hunt down a copy.

You guys are right, though, I don't know why they don't sell it in the States.

Big fat congrats, Jeremy!

Scarlet's great. If it helps, I wish we had Bust over here. And David Beckham. And Johnny Depp. And root beer.

Actually, I don't even know what root beer is. I'm being silly now.

Thanks, you wonderful UK smutters!

Kristina, root beer is a kind of hair tonic. The idea is that the carbonation gets down into the follicles and makes them hiccough, which supposedly stimulates the roots.

[NOTE TO GULLIBLE READERS: The whimsical passage above should not in any way be construed as to encourage the ingestion of hair products. DON'T DO IT. Read some erotica by my friends instead.]

Any ideas where I can get my hands on a copy of it? I love the pretext. :D

Congrats Jeremy (I know I know, I'm behind).

Hi, Angell! Time is no issue at my blog parties, so come on over whenever you like. Welcome!

There actually is a way for us non-UK folk to order Scarlet (which I should have mentioned before, duh). It's set up as a subscription, but it can be enabled and canceled on an issue-by-issue basis. Here's that link. (I'm not sure whether the April issue can still be obtained that way. I don't think the next one is out for a couple of weeks yet, so perhaps it's not too late.)
