A dilly of an inventory

Given the title of my kitchen-herb homage this summer, I think it's very fitting that Rock My Socks Off is in especially good supply in Picadilly Circus.

P.S. Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh (squared) ... I love you, Scotland!

: ) Now I'm looking at the shape of Scotland on the map, trying to figure out which part is the "mouth" that it would kiss me with.

Ah, okay, that wasn't so hard. Clearly, Dundee is the mouth (with the peninsula that culminates above Aberdeen being the nose). Scotland is visible from the shoulders up in profile and has rabbit ears. (I'm guessing I'm not the first person to make this discovery, but it's new to me.)

Funny, normally people describe Dundee as a different orifice.

I so totally didn't say that.

I shall wait until the Dundee Waterstone's shows my book in stock ... and then rush to defend the city's reputation.

So, Nikki, were you given Scotland-map outlines in school, to draw into rabbits? (I think we had U.S.A.-map turkeys when I was a kid.)

Or maybe it's just me:

Your search - "scotland is shaped like a rabbit" - did not match any documents.

Merry Xmas Jeremy! May you and your novel have a fabulously successful New Year!

Jeremy Edwards said...

Thanks, Janine, from me and my novel! : ) Happy Christmas and a great 2010 to you, too! I know the year will be full of marvelous JA achievements. And I'm so glad to know that the new year already holds a couple of books that we'll be in together.

Looking forward to another wonderful year of camaraderie and fun with all you awesome, brilliant people.

Yah! I bet Scotland DOES love you! And I was going to tell you to kiss the part that Nikki's in -- maybe you'll get baby kisses back :)

Ooh, that would be nice! And with all the "shaking hands and kissing babies" that goes on in the world, I think it's about time the babies got to do some of the kissing.
