I'll be reading from Rock My Socks Off, while* Robin will read some of her erotic poetry, including finalist poems from the Seattle Erotic Art Festival.
*Well, not while, technically—I believe we'll be taking turns.
Signed copies of my book will be available at the Salon at a discounted price, and one free copy will be raffled off.
Here again, nuts-and-bolts lovers, are the nuts and bolts about the Salon:
Salons gather the 3rd Tuesday of every month at TIME (The Bohemian Absinthe Lounge), 1315 Sansom Street, Center City, Philadelphia. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. (limited seating), for cocktails, food and conversation. The event begins promptly at 8:00 p.m. Admission is $10, discounted for readers, students, and seniors (65+) to $8. Salon attendees must be 21.
Part of the evening is devoted to open-mike readings. To reserve a slot (five minutes), e-mail PCSalons AT gmail DOT com with the mandatory subject line "PCS."
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SALON VENUE, THE SALON WEBSITE, AND THE E-MAIL ADDRESS FOR OPEN-MIKE RESERVATIONS HAVE ALL RECENTLY CHANGED. The information in this blog post should be up to date.

Wish I could be there to hear you - and Robin! Have fun!
Good luck J.E. Not that you need it. You're an old hand at this sort of thing now, right?
I've only read once, at a sex club, and in the middle of it a naked guy opened the door, looked in, and quickly closed it again.
Different.
Thanks, M and MM!

I'm an old hand at all sorts of things. ; )
Jeremy, what a treat to hear you read your work and meet the man "under the hat." I love that your characters actually talk to each other beyond the obligatory "f+++ me baby" and that they laugh, joke and sound like real people, just better ... and hotter.
Respect,
rbb
Wow, thank you so much, Ricc! My characters and I are glowing from your praise.
It was great meeting you. And can you direct us to the complete version of that delightfully warm, witty, and sensuous piece you read from?
Jeremy, it was an absolute pleasure to read with you. One of the highlights my literary life so far.
And I agree, Ricc's piece was wonderful. I'm not sure if that one is at his blog, but I will be looking for it.
Ha! my verification word is "diting"
rhymes with knitting -
Why is it that writers of smut (prose or poetry) are so generous with praise and support? Must be something to exercising/exorcising those lust demons on the page.
Grateful thanks to two great talents, Robin and Jeremy. My blog is at

It and I welcome you. My verification word is rmiscasp. Is there a hidden meaning ;-)
Thanks, Robin! I don't think I've ever been one of the "highlights" before! (And I didn't even have to go to a hairdresser—a good thing, given my general lack of hair.)
As I said on your blog, your words and delivery knocked my socks off.

It does look rich with cryptic significance, doesn't it? I'm thinking "Re. miscellaneous, ASAP."
