Hmm. I'm not sure I get it.
Well, I'm not the artist of course... but my take on it is that the bridge photos bring out elements of the structures that are suggestive of sexual connections—phallic-looking parts intersecting with open arches, for instance. Then we have the humans establishing their sexual connection. To me it's a loose but very effective association.
I think the idea is bridges as connections, and in one case the bridge pillar as priapic - and if you think of it in reverse, maybe suggestive of the outline of female genitals as well? I think I see where it's going... his blog as a whole is cool, though.
