May Mini-Tour!

Oysters & Chocolate: Erotic Stories of Every Flavor (which contains a story of mine called "Human") comes out tomorrow—yay! And, as I've hinted (well, more than hinted: stated outright), I'll be participating in some live events later this month to help promote the book. I'm really looking forward to this!

Here are some particulars (for those of you who are particular):

On Tuesday, May 19, I will be featured at Philadelphia's Erotic Literary Salon, reading from "Human" and discussing "The Erotic Power of Minutiae: How Small Descriptive Details, Minor Epiphanies, and Brief Utterances Can Play Big Roles in the Context of Erotic Literature." The salon, hosted by Susana Mayer and held at an elegant venue called L’Etage (which I think is affiliated with a crêperie!) at 624 S. 6th St. (entrance on Bainbridge), is a unique and wonderful event that offers cocktails, food, conversation, and an opportunity for attendees to read their work to the group! Doors open at 7:30 p.m. (note: limited seating), and the program officially begins at 8:30. 21+; admission $10 ($8 for F/T students and seniors [65+]). For full details, visit the Erotic Literary Salon blog.

On Thursday, May 21, I will be reading an excerpt from "Human" as part of Rachel Kramer Bussel's legendary New York reading series In the Flesh, where I've had the honor of reading once before, and where a fabulous time is always to be had! The lineup this time includes Anna David, Mara Altman, Robin Glasser, Suzanne Guillette, Blaise K, and Craig Yoe. In the Flesh takes place at Happy Ending Lounge, 302 Broome St. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and readings begin at 8:00 (arrival by 7:30 is recommended for those wanting seats). Admission is free, and free snacks and other goodies abound! For full details, visit the In the Flesh blog.

On Sunday, May 31, I'll be reading from "Human" and other Jeremy stories as part of an Oysters & Chocolate night at Madame X in New York, which will feature Aimee Herman and Ilsa Laslow in addition to yours truly! 21+/7:30 p.m./free admission. Madame X, at 94 W. Houston St., looks like a lovely, luscious lounge.

Books will be available for purchase at all these events.
